I have been teaching guitar for the past 25 years.  I am proud to say that many of my students have gone on to play professionally.  The other students have kept on their musical path and continue to enjoy their guitar.  We have a great time in our lessons, while learning the much needed skills to play all styles of music.  I welcome all ages, and just ask that you be willing to learn.  There are many guitar teachers out there that will show you song after song, but you will never learn the skills needed to fly on your own.  I like to tell my students "think of learning the guitar as a life-long hobby".  You will be amazed at how much there really is to learn about playing the guitar.  Are you ready to start your life-long hobby?

Styles I teach include: Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk, and Fusion.

Save yourself all that drive time!!  Dave gives private guitar lessons at your home.  Price is typically $60 for a 45 minute lesson, or $70 for a one hour lesson, these prices can vary depending on drive time and distance.  Two lessons per month is recommended.


Dave has been teaching at Gill's Music in Antioch for the past 14 years.  If interested in guitar lessons at Gill's Music with Dave, please click below.  The tuition is $120 for four 30 minutes lessons.  One lesson per week with a set time and day.
